TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1 Customer Service

2 Making a purchase

a) All prices for personal stationery are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of 20% VAT.

b) To order, please fill out your details online or complete our paper order form and send it to The Old Dairy, Polhampton Farm, Overton, Hampshire RG25 3ED, UK, or fax it to +44 (0)1962 732 634.

c) Leeming Brothers may ask for part or full payment in advance of starting work. We accept payment by UK cheque (made out to Leeming Brothers) or by VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Switch.

d) If shopping from outside the UK, your credit card company will convert the amount to your own currency.

e) On receipt of such payment, a contract will exist between us. At this time we will send you details confirming your order together with a PDF proof so you can approve or amend the stationery design prior to print.

f) You may amend your proofs up to three times at no additional cost. Thereafter each set of amends will be charged at £25.

g) Once you have approved your proofs, we will ask for any remaining balances due, including carriage. Payment must be made in full before delivery is made. Please note that all work remains the property of Leeming Brothers until this time.

h) Stationery orders are normally dispatched within 15 working days (20 for wedding orders) of proof approval or final payment (whichever is the later). However, some processes such as gold, silver and blind stamped items may take up to 5 days longer and, whilst Leeming Brothers will endeavour to meet quoted delivery dates, it cannot guarantee them and is not responsible for any consequential loss.

i) At times we may be able to fast track your order.  Should this be required there will be an additional 'fast track' charge of £65.

 j) All printing is finished by hand and exact quantities cannot be guaranteed. Deliveries are subject to tolerances of up to plus or minus 10%.

3 Fonts

a) We are often asked to match font types from client's existing personal stationery.  We are delighted to do this.  Please note that there may be a small charge where this requires us to purchase a font which we do not already use.  You will be advised of this at the time. 

b) Our standard ink colour is black for which there is no extra charge. Please note that our other house colours carry an additional cost of £10. An exact pantone match can be made for £20 and £30 for silver and gold.

4 Delivery

a) All deliveries are made by courier and require a signature on delivery. For this reason it is not possible to deliver to a PO Box.

b) International payment of any customs or handling charges are beyond our control and we are unable to accept any responsibility for these.

Delivery charges are as follows:

UK mainland £15.00

Europe inc Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands £35.00

USA £40.00

Africa, Caribbean, Central and South America £75.00

Rest of the World £50.00

Please allow up to five working days for UK deliveries and up to 10

working days for all other deliveries.

5 Refund policy

a) If you cancel your order at any time between your first payment and the approval of proofs, you will be refunded in full save an administration fee of £25 per stationery item. Where the transaction has been made by credit or debit card, the refund will be made to the same card within 14 days of notification. Please note that we are unable to make cash refunds.

b) Cancellations made after the approval of proofs will not receive a refund.

c) Every piece of personalised stationery is made to order. That is why we are unable to offer a refund or exchange on its receipt by you. However, if we have made an error we will promptly correct or replace the items supplied. Any complaints regarding personalized stationery items must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery.

d) This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

6 On-Screen Representation

a) Leeming Brothers makes every effort to faithfully illustrate paper and ink colours in its brochure and on screen. However, please note that reproductions may vary from the actual product and should be used as a guide only.
 

7 Privacy

a) At Leeming Brothers we are committed to protecting your privacy and do so in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The following clauses explain how and why we collect information from you, to whom such information is disclosed and what your rights are.

b) We receive information from you when you request a brochure, make an order or when you email or telephone us.

c) We use the information that we collect about you to:
(i) provide requested details to you about the stationery you are interested in;
(ii) monitor web traffic patterns to help us develop the design and the layout of the site; and
(iii) occasionally notify you about enhancements to our services

d) If you pay by credit or debit card your payment will be processed by HSBC. We do not retain any client card details.

e) Leeming Brothers does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. Instead we may provide aggregate statistics to reputable third parties, but these statistics will never include any personally identifying information.

f) You can request, at any time, that we stop using your information and that we stop mailing information to you. You may continue to receive mailings en route to you for a short period of time while your suppression is being processed. 

8 General

a) By placing an order, or if you access www.leemingbrothers.com or www.leemingbrothers.co.uk you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.

b) These terms and conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

c) We reserve the right to make amends to these terms and conditions at any time. You will be subject to the terms in force at the time your order is made.

d) We make every effort to ensure that the information we provide and the stationery we supply to you is of the highest quality. We will not be held responsible for any personal or business loss experienced by you as a result of acting on the information provided.

e) We will not be held responsible for any delays or failure to comply with these terms and conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control, such as fire, flood, strikes or other events amounting to force majeure.
